Car and MPV

  • Car and MPV is training that provides the opportunity for organisations operating smaller vehicles, or voluntary car schemes, to deliver the same level of training to their drivers as MiDAS provides for minibus drivers.

    It follows the same modular format as MiDAS, providing drivers with the information they need to provide safe and comfortable transport for their passengers. There is additional training available for those who may be driving accessible MPVs and passenger assistance training for those who may be transporting passengers with disabilities in cars.

    How does Car and MPV work?

    Like MiDAS, Car and MPV training operates on a ‘cascade’ model. CTA appoints a number of Training Agents (TAs), who provide training for a larger number of Car and MPV Observers who assess individual drivers or passenger assistants within organisations.
