1) Register with MiDAS
In order to become a Driver Assessor Trainer, you need to register as a member of the MiDAS training scheme.
Registration is a commitment to ensuring that you and your organisation take seriously your role in protecting your passengers and developing your drivers. There is no additional fee to register as part of the MiDAS training scheme.
When you join, you will be given a MiDAS registration number. It’s important that you keep this safe, as you will be asked for it when you book MiDAS training.
2) Find your nearest Training Agent
To become a Driver Assessor Trainer you will need to get in contact with a certified Training Agent who will run your training course.

What to expect from your DAT Training.
Driver Assessor training should be delivered to the same standard regardless of where you receive the training and who it is delivered by. Below you can find a document which outlines what to expect before, during and after you receive training.
DAT training is regularly monitored and you may be contacted about the training you have received to ensure that it meets the standard outlined below.
