Selby District Association of Voluntary Service

Selby District Association of Voluntary Service provides both a minibus hire service and a volunteer run car scheme.

Our minibus hire service provides safe, accessible and affordable transport for voluntary and community organisations in the Selby District on a not-for-profit basis. We are able to provide a volunteer driver or, for maximum flexibility and lowest cost, vehicles can be hired on a self-drive basis.
Our minibus is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Our volunteer car scheme service takes residents to the places they need to get, including medical appointments, shopping and community activities. We support people who may have mobility issues or are unable to access public transport easily.
Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles for the car scheme, they and their vehicle go through comprehensive checks to ensure your safety.
