The Community Transport Association is recruiting for a new Chair of our Board of Trustees. It’s an important role, working closely with CTA’s Chief Executive, our Senior Leadership Team, and our talented Board, to support CTA and its members.
This year has been a difficult and uncertain one for the community transport sector, but one where we’ve seen community transport providers stepping up and serving their communities when they needed them the most. At CTA, we’re committed to supporting our members to recover and restart, and to make sure that the community transport sector can continue its vital work in communities all across the country.
As we respond to the challenges CTA members face in navigating this new landscape, it’s more important than ever that CTA is supported by a strong Board of Trustees led by a talented Chair to embrace this challenge.

We’re recruiting for the exciting role of CTA’s Director for Wales. Our new Director for Wales will be leading our policy and public affairs work in Wales, helping us to be influential and leading a clear policy agenda that advances the outcomes of, and support for, community transport, and that serves our members well.
Although many of the issues affecting service users and transport operators are common across the UK, Wales has its own political institutions and policy landscape so it’s vital we have an inspirational and imaginative leader developing our relationships and taking forward our policy agenda in Wales.
We are looking for an innovative and inclusive leader that will help us drive forward our important work in serving Welsh communities. If you like the sound of this challenge and have the qualities and potential to rise to it, then we’d love to hear from you.
