Find your local MiDAS Provider
Are you registered? Before contacting a MiDAS Provider, you can register your organisation for free, here. This helps to ensure that all your certificate records are accurate and allows you to join a community of thousands of organisations delivering safe, legal and comfortable journeys.
There are hundreds of organisations throughout the UK who can deliver MiDAS for your drivers. Explore our map to find providers in your area! Many of them are also able to travel so if there isn't one close to you, have a look at providers in your surrounding area. You can read more about the process of organising a course below. You will arrange everything, including access to the online theory course, through your chosen provider. This list is not exhaustive so if you would like to confirm whether or not a Driver Assessor is certified, you can contact training@ctauk.org.
How does it work?
Choose your provider
On this page you can find a MiDAS Provider in your area. We recommend contacting a few different providers as availability and costs can vary. Prices can vary depending on the number of staff members being trained, the modules required and your location.
You can discuss your requirements with your chosen provider and book convenient appointments for your drivers to attend their Individual Practical Sessions and Driving Assessments. If you are completing the MiDAS Accessible, you’ll also need to agree a time to bring all of your drivers together for the classroom based theory and practical skills assessment.
Complete the online theory course
Once everything is organised, your MiDAS provider will give everyone receiving training access to the online theory course. The theory assessment at the end of the online course must be passed before the any other training takes place.
Complete the practical (and Accessible if applicable)
Once a driver passes their online theory assessment, the Individual Practical Session and Driving Assessment can take place. These sessions should be completed on a 1 to 1 basis and should last up to 90 minutes per driver. If you are undertaking the Accessible module, your drivers will also attend a 3 hour classroom theory session and a practical skills assessment.
Certified, Safe, Legal, Comfortable
If your drivers pass, they will be issued with a certificate which they’ll be able to access online. They’ll also continue to have access to the online system so they can revisit the content anytime and will receive notifications if there are any significant updates they should be aware of. You will be able to access a dashboard for your organisation which shows your drivers and when they will be due for a Refresher course.
