We believe in evidence-based public policy and in the power of stories to change minds and change lives. 

Whether its personal testimonials or long-term statistical trends, data and insights from the expertise and lived experience of Community Transport operators, passengers, volunteers and supporters enrich our collective understanding of our sector, giving us the evidence we need to secure more funding, shape a new strategy or change the law.

We work closely with our members to gather high-quality data and insights into the state of the Community Transport sector to raise awareness and improve understanding of their challenges, opportunities and priorities with key audiences, like funders, policymakers and politicians. We work with Community Transport operators to map strengths and gaps in the sector across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We work with policymakers and researchers to contribute to their research or produce our own.
