This section will provide updates on the regional work undertaken in:

South central, East, South East and London

Some facts about the East and South East, 

• This area is covered by 3 Sub National Transport Bodies
  • Transport East
  • England’s Economic Heartland
  • Transport for the South East
• Transport in London is the responsibility of the Mayor of London
• There is a combined population of around 24.3million people.  43% of the population in England live in these regions
• 43% of all CTA members operate in the East and South East region

East England

In the East we are focusing on the role of community transport in Rural Transport.

We have been working with Transport East in their work as the Rural Centre of Excellence.  With this work we were able to share the valuable and impactful role that Community transport plays in rural transport.

South Central

In South Central we are focusing on mapping stakeholders in the region and building a health mapping guide. 

South East

In the South East as with South Central we are focusing on mapping stakeholders in the region and building a health mapping guide. 

London 

In London we are focusing on continuing to build relationships with key stakeholders and reviewing the capacity and coverage of the CT sector in London.
