CTA Community Building Session - CTWeek24

The focus for this month's session is CTWeek24.

As CT Week 2024 approaches, we are excited to invite you to a special edition of our Community Building Session. These sessions have become a cornerstone for networking, learning, and sharing within the Community Transport (CT) sector. This session is designed to help you make the most of CT Week, providing the tools, resources, and insights needed to elevate your impact.

MiDAS 30th Celebration Event

Join us at Aintree Racecourse, home of the world famous Grand National, to celebrate 30 years of safe, legal and comfortable journeys.

The MiDAS Celebration will bring together trainers, drivers, passengers and organisations from within the Community Transport sector to highlight the collaboration, effort and standard set by the MiDAS brand.

CTA and Hampshire County Council invite you to join us and hear from a range of speakers, browse our exhibition stands and enjoy a fantastic awards ceremony to honour those who uphold the MiDAS standard in their work, every day.

Driver Assessor Training

Rather than accessing MiDAS through an existing provider, you may want to be able to deliver MiDAS yourselves.

This can be a good option particularly if you have a large number of people requiring training or if you struggle to find an existing provider close to you. It also allows you to deliver MiDAS to other organisations in your area. You can find out more about the steps involved with becoming a MiDAS Driver Assessor below.

MiDAS: The Gold Standard in Minibus Driver Training

The Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) has been an intrinsic part of the community transport sector since its inception in 1994. As the training scheme reaches 30 years old, CTA’s transformation plan goes far beyond the regular minor amendments that have been made every 2 years. CTA has spent the past 18 months working in partnership with Hampshire County Council (the original developers of MiDAS) to transform the MiDAS offering. We are maintaining the original guiding ethos of ‘by the sector for the sector.
