Community Building Session: Get Ready for Community Transport Week!
We’d love for you to join us at our August Community Building Session (CBS), where we’ll be focusing on how you can get involved in Community Transport Week 2025 (13–17 October) under this year’s theme: “More Than a Minibus.”
This session is about making CT Week work for you – whether that means gaining local recognition, strengthening community support, or just taking a moment to celebrate everything you and your team do.
At this session, you’ll be able to:
- Find out how to engage your local MP, councillors, or other decision-makers - to highlight the impact of your service and encourage support.
- Raise the profile of your impact- Discover how to share your stories and successes with CTA and beyond. How we can help to amplify your voice across our platforms.
- Access practical tools and guidance - including a look at the CTA Members’ Toolkit, packed with ready-to-use templates and ideas to help you get involved with confidence.
- Hear from other CT providers - Find out what others are planning, what’s worked before, and how we can all support each other.
We can’t wait to welcome you to this session and support you to make the most of CT Week 2025.
You do so much for your community — now let’s make sure others see it too.
CTA Community Building Sessions take place once a month and our goal is to make these sessions engaging, interactive and to foster a sense of community among all of us who are working to improve transport services in our communities.
Come along to the CBS where you're invited to:
- Discuss any issues relating to CT in an open and supportive environment
- Uncover emerging trends such as decarbonisation, climate actions, funding opportunities and more
- Network and build connections with members across regional and national boundaries
- Resolve complex or sensitive queries from members through peer-to-peer learning
- Gather intelligence and ideas from CTOs about what’s happening in the sector to feed into CTA's policy, influencing and campaign work
- Connect with CT Operators across regional/national boundaries
- Provide feedback on how CTA can better support you.
We can't wait to welcome you to our Community Building Session.
