Wherever you’re based, our dedicated teams can connect you with the right advice, support and opportunities.
With community-led groups and organisations delivering transport and wider support services to rural, urban, and island communities across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, we are constantly evaluating and developing creative ways to connect.
We know that while many of the challenges Community Transport operators face are universal, each country and the regions within it present distinct challenges and opportunities.
Alongside our four pillars of support, which focus on the key cross-cutting themes of Membership, Advice & Support, Policy & Research, and Training, we have dedicated teams in each country. They make sure members and the wider community can access advice, guidance and support suited to their context and location, including:
- Events – we host an annual UK-wide conference for the sector and our partners, as well as dedicated in-person conferences and events across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Visit our Events page to see what’s coming up.
- Forums and meetings – from our ConneCTing forums for English regions and Working Well sessions led by colleagues in Team Wales to network meetings in Northern Ireland and Climate Action forums led by Team Scotland, we offer a range of virtual events that bring our members together.
- Training and Show & Tell sessions – alongside MiDAS training, CTA offers a range of on-demand training programmes and information sessions on key topics, creating opportunities to learn from experts across the UK network.
- Connect & Learn Sessions – monthly online sessions that bring together members from across the UK to connect with one another and explore high-priority questions.
- Spotlight newsletters – each CTA country team compiles a monthly Spotlight newsletter featuring the latest news, funding opportunities, training and CTA updates. We also issue a monthly UK-wide Spotlight. Sign up for our Spotlight newsletters.
Our work across the UK is underpinned by our mission to lead a thriving Community Transport movement and our vision of a world where everyone can access transport that meets their needs. Wherever you are and whatever you do with and for your community, our team is on hand to help.
