Are you registered? Before contacting a MiDAS Provider, you can register your organisation for free, here. This helps to ensure that all your certificate records are accurate and allows you to join a community of thousands of organisations delivering safe, legal and comfortable journeys.
There are hundreds of organisations throughout the UK who can deliver MiDAS for your drivers. Explore our map to find providers in your area! Many of them are also able to travel so if there isn't one close to you, have a look at providers in your surrounding area. You can read more about the process of organising a course below. You will arrange everything, including access to the online theory course, through your chosen provider. This list is not exhaustive so if you would like to confirm whether or not a Driver Assessor is certified, you can contact training@ctauk.org. If you are a MiDAS provider and you aren't on the map - login to your account to update your details.
How does it work?
1 | Choose Your Provider Find a MiDAS Provider in your area and contact a few providers to compare availability and costs. Once you've selected a provider, you can discuss your requirements and arrange suitable dates for training and assessments. |
2 | Complete the Online Theory Course Your provider will issue access to the online learning system. All learners must complete and pass the theory assessment before progressing to practical training. |
3 | Complete Practical Training & Assessment For MiDAS - learners attend a one-to-one Individual Practical Session and Driving Assessment, typically lasting up to 90 minutes. For PATS - learners attend a workshop (in groups up to 6), typically lasting up to 120 minutes. If completing the Accessible modules, learners will also attend a Practical Skills Session and complete a Practical Skills Assessment. For more details about the practical elements of the course, visit our courses page. |
4 | Become Certified Successful learners receive a MiDAS certificate and ongoing access to the online learning platform. Organisations can view training records through their dashboard and track upcoming refresher requirements. |
