Meet the Funder: Tactran Transport to Employment

This session is for CTA members operating across the TACTRAN region of Angus, Dundee, Perth and Kinross, and Stirling who are interested in finding out more about the new Transport 2 Employment project and associated funding.

TACTRAN, the Regional Transport Partnership for Tayside and Central Scotland, is launching Transport 2 Employment to help fill gaps in traditional transport services and improve access to work. The service will not replace or compete with existing bus services but will provide additional options where suitable services are unavailable.

TACTRAN is looking to engage with and support transport operators, including Community Transport organisations, to explore how they could help deliver the project. The session will consider how TACTRAN and Community Transport operators might work together to improve access to employment, develop services, support training and achieve positive outcomes for local communities.

This information session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions and discuss how Community Transport operators could become involved. TACTRAN will also be engaging with operators through further workshops and individual meetings as the project develops.
