If you are a self employed taxi driver or personal assistant, you may be required to complete the PATS online course. This form allows you to pay for and access the course without being attached to an organisation. The online course is £30. This allows you access the the course and your certificate for a period of 3 years. Please note that in order to be issued with a certificate, you need to complete the in person elements of the course. Often you will be able to access the in-person parts of the course through your Local Authority. You can also find a list of providers, here.

Once you have submitted this form, you will be sent an email with a link to create an account. This will allow you to access the PATS online theory course. Once you have passed your theory course, you will need to complete the practical elements of the course before you can be issued with a certificate.
