Stop what you’re doing, open up your calendars and mark November 12 and 13 as attending CT ’19!
CT ’19 is a two day event in Manchester that aims to bring together CTA members and friends from all parts of the UK to network, learn, share ideas and celebrate the amazing work of our sector.
We’ll have a packed agenda across the two days including:
- Great opportunities to network, learn and celebrate with colleagues from across the sector.
- A half day conference with panel discussions and member contributions.
- CTA’s Annual General Meeting.
- Drinks, dinner and the Community Transport Awards.
- Interesting and practical workshops run by a mix of CTA staff and guest conveners.
- Launch of new reports and initiatives.
- An exhibition bringing together top suppliers to the community transport sector.
Day one will hold the conference, AGM and the Community Transport Awards, with the workshops and exhibition being held on day two.
CT ’19 will take place across 12 and 13 November at Hotel Football in Manchester. A stone’s throw away from Old Trafford, it’s an exciting venue with great public transport links and close, affordable accommodation.
Why are we running this event?
When we’ve spoken to our members about what they want out of CTA events, a common theme is that they want the opportunity to come together, for more than just a day or an afternoon, with other community transport providers from across the UK, to meet new people, learn new things and celebrate, recognise and commend the work being done across the community transport sector.
Some of you will remember the three day annual event that we used to hold in Manchester a number of years ago. With CT ’19 we want to bring back the spirit of this sort of event, taking what was best from it, building on it with new ideas and making it more affordable for the wide range of organisations that make up our membership.
CT ’19 is all about coming together over two days as an exciting and varied sector, learning, sharing, networking and celebrating the amazing work done by community transport providers all across the UK.
More information
We’ll be announcing ticket prices and opening bookings in a couple of weeks and in the coming months we’ll be sharing more information about the conference and workshop agendas, categories for the Community Transport Awards and the nomination process. In the meantime, put the dates in your diary and if you want to register your interest and be the first to know when bookings open, just let us know below.
If you have any questions in the meantime you can email the team at ct19@ctauk.org and we’ll be in touch.

We are really looking forward to November at Halton CT, and a chance to properly celebrate the sector and meet old friends again…

Look forward to the opportunity to attend a gathering of operators and advisers from across the UK CT sector. Invaluable chance to exchange ideas and combine in one voice, especially with regard to potential legislative and governing changes the sector may face!..
