Understanding Vehicle Maintenance: Updates for Community Transport
-
Online Via Teams | comms@ctauk.orgWe’re teaming up with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) to give CTA members direct access to the people behind policy decisions that affect community transport.
Join us for a special online event, open only to current CTA members – both full and permit only.
Understanding Vehicle Maintenance: Updates for Community Transport
In this session, the DVSA policy team will cover:
- Who they are and what their policy team does
- How they develop guidance and make decisions
- How they work with the Department for Transport
- Key updates on vehicle maintenance requirements – including brake checks – and what this means for PSV operators, including those running services under permits
There’ll also be time for Q&A, so you can raise topics and get the answers that matter to your organisation.
Why attend?
If you operate any kind of vehicle for community transport – whether it’s a car, MPV, 9-seater or a 17-seater minibus and up – it’s classed as a Public Service Vehicle (PSV). That means DVSA guidance applies to you. Understanding what’s required is essential, especially with recent updates.
This is a great opportunity to better understand DVSA’s role and get clarity on current requirements and future plans.
