How do you measure and demonstrate the impact of your work? For many Community Transport operators, data collection is ad hoc, resource-heavy, or mainly driven by funder requirements. Yet capturing and sharing your impact can be invaluable — helping you communicate your value to staff, volunteers, passengers, funders, and local authorities.

In this session, we’ll explore practical ways to measure impact simply and effectively, drawing on the experiences of CTA members. Together we’ll look at:

• Easy methods for gathering feedback (case studies, surveys, videos, ONS wellbeing questions)

• Tools and resources to support reporting, including annual reports and the Social Value Toolkit

• How to make data collection more consistent, even with limited staff capacity

• Communicating your impact with different audiences

This is a chance to share approaches, learn from each other, and take away ideas to make measuring impact more achievable in your organisation.
