There are nearly one million trustees across the UK charity sector and the collective contribution they make is considerable. Trustees Week is being held from 3 - 7 November and this year's theme is 'Celebrating, Inspiring and Supporting'. We're holding a Working Well session during Trustees Week with the theme of supporting your trustee board or committee to be the best it can possibly be. In this informative session we'll look at some of the common challenges that arise, the characteristics of good boards, and how to improve diversity on boards by involving younger trustees.

Our Deputy Head of Training, Dylan Gallanders, will talk about the Young Trustees Movement and how to create a welcoming Board experience for younger trustees, using insights from his own experience. Marie Langan, Head of Operations at the Cranfield Trust, will share her invaluable perspective on working well with trustees. The Cranfield Trust has been supporting charities to thrive for more than 35 years and is the UK's leading provider of pro bono management support, mentoring and development advice and information to charities. We'd love for you to join us!
