Supporting Our Sector Through Devolution Working Group

Community Transport organisations across Suffolk and Norfolk are invited to take part in an important upcoming working group hosted by the Community Transport Association (CTA). You can attend in person or join us online - choose the option below that works best for you.

Any Community Transport organisation or Local Authority within Suffolk and Norfolk is welcome to attend.

In-person venue: Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre (KWMCC) Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave, Suffolk, IP5 1JF

This event has been organised to support Community Transport (CT) providers through the ongoing devolution process and to strengthen collaboration across the sector.


The session will focus on what devolution means for Community Transport and how organisations can prepare for the changes ahead. More importantly, it will provide a valuable opportunity for attendees to come together, share concerns, and contribute ideas to ensure that the needs of the sector are recognised and supported throughout this transition.

This working group is designed to be a collaborative space where CT providers can:

  • Gain a clearer understanding of the devolution process
  • Share experiences, challenges, and concerns
  • Explore opportunities for joint working and mutual support
  • Contribute ideas to help safeguard and strengthen Community Transport services
  • Local Authorities will also be involved in the discussion, offering a chance for direct engagement and dialogue between providers and decision-makers. 

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
