Over the past year, Team England has worked with community transport organisations, local authorities and sector partners across England to explore some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing our sector.
Our Deep Dive research has looked closely at community bus operations and Section 22 permits and the opportunities presented by devolution. This year we have a focus on exploring electric vehicle adoption and the value of group hire services. In this interactive session, we’ll share the findings emerging from these projects, explain how we plan to build on this work, what the next research topics will involve and, most importantly, explore what it all means for community transport organisations in practice.
By the end of the session, you will:
- Hear the latest findings from across the Deep Dive research programme
- See examples of innovative practice from community transport organisations across England
- Understand how changing transport policy and funding are shaping the sector
- Take away practical ideas you can apply in your own organisation
Who is this session for?
Anyone looking for fresh ideas, interested in how these issues are affecting the wider sector or keen to help shape future priorities for community transport in England.
Join us to hear the latest insights from across the Deep Dive programme, connect with colleagues from across England and contribute your own experience and ideas as we help shape the future of community transport.
