CTA AGM and D1 Reception at Westminster
-
Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons, Palace of Westminster, SW1A 0AA | policy@ctauk.orgJoin the Community Transport Association at the Palace of Westminster during Community Transport Week 2026 for our Annual General Meeting and a special reception taking our campaign for minibus driver licensing rule changes to Parliament, as we work to tackle minibus driver shortages, strengthen passenger safety and safeguard the future of our sector.
The reception, kindly sponsored by Fleur Anderson MP, a long-time supporter of Community Transport, is an important opportunity to take our campaign to Parliament and engage directly with MPs.
CTA members and stakeholders will hear why licensing reform matters to Community Transport as we launch our white paper setting out proposals to enable a new generation of minibus drivers and safeguard the future of the sector.
Guests are invited to arrive from 2pm for refreshments and informal networking. The main programme will begin at 3pm, followed by afternoon tea and a further opportunity for networking.
The programme will include contributions from Fleur Anderson MP, CTA Chair Alan Jones, CTA CEO Dr Victoria Armstrong, and members of the CTA team.
We’re asking attendees from member organisations to invite their local MP to join them at the reception. Further information and a template invitation will be provided after registration. Please let us know if your MP plans to attend so that we can keep track of expected guests.
Places are limited to a maximum of two attendees per member organisation. Invited MPs do not count towards this limit.
If you’re a non-member wishing to attend, please email policy@ctauk.org.
