West of Scotland Rural Transport Workshop with Stantec

Stantec have been tasked by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) to develop an action plan for improving transport for the West of Scotland’s rural, remote and island communities.

Their ongoing appraisal has identified the potential of Community Transport to be at the heart of a future network, helping to better connect the region’s hamlets, villages, towns and cities as part of a ‘hub and spoke’ model.

This workshop is an important opportunity to inform their work and be part of Community Transport’s changing role in the West of Scotland.

Join us and colleagues from Stantec online on Monday 27 January 2025 to:

•    Dig into their data and modelling;
•    Learn about the region’s transport challenges;
•    Explore proposed options for change;
•    Have your say on potential solutions; and,
•    Understand potential opportunities for growth for your organisation.

Please note, this online Zoom workshop is open to CTA members in the West of Scotland/SPT region only. If you live/work in this area and would like to discuss membership, please email scotland@ctauk.org.
