Big Questions, Big Ideas: What lessons have we learned in 2020 that will make transport networks more sustainable for the future?
2020 has been an incredibly challenging year, with everyone facing obstacles and difficulties that no one was expecting. As we look back and reflect on what’s happened during the last year, our panel will be sharing their thoughts on the lessons we can take forward into 2021. How can we use the experience of lock-down and the coronavirus pandemic to build a sector that is stronger, more sustainable and resilient?
We’ll be answering these questions and looking at how we can use what we’ve learned to continue serving the people that rely on our sector the most. This event is a webinar, so bring your lunch (or a mince pie!), listen to some interesting discussions and get involved by submitting questions and talk to other community transport providers in Zoom’s chat function.

Is there a limit to how many people can attend this event?
No – our Big Questions, Big Ideas events don’t have a maximum capacity and are open to CTA members and supporters of community transport; feel free to book on as many people as you’d like!
What medium will the event be taking place in and how will I be able to join?
This is an online event, so you’ll be joining us on Zoom. After you’ve booked your place, we’ll send you a meeting invitation link a few days before the event along with all the details you’ll need to join.
Will I be visible on screen?
No – our Big Questions, Big Ideas events are webinars, so you’ll be able to see and hear our panel of speakers, but you won’t be visible or audible. The only exception to this is if you’re selected to ask a question – in that instance, you’ll be temporarily audible to all participants whilst you ask your question.
Will I be able to access a recording and any relevant presentations after the event?
Yes – we’ll be making a recording and recap of each event available afterwards, including any slides used by presenters or facilitators.
