Every day of the year, community transport plays a vital role in the lives of thousands of people across Wales. It is often described by its users as a vital lifeline without which many vulnerable people couldn’t leave their home or get involved in their communities. It also plays an important role in promoting issues across the political spectrum from health, equality and access to public services, education, tackling isolation, improving air quality, and allowing local people to develop their own community based transport solutions.

This event gives decision-makers the opportunity to meet our members and their passengers, to hear their stories, discuss the issues they face and look to the challenges and opportunities ahead.

With a host of exciting new developments in transport and transport policy in Wales, we’ll also be looking at how community transport fits into new models of transport, public service delivery and well-being, and the role it can play in the policy priorities of the future.

This event will bring Government and the Assembly together with community transport providers to look at how we can ensure that  people in Wales can have the best access possible to everything their communities have to offer and to ensure they’re empowered to their lives to the full.

Lunch and refreshments will be served during the day and we will also have our members’ minibuses outside the Pierhead building for you to take photo with. To book your place, click the ‘book now’ button above.

Bob dydd y flwyddyn, mae trafnidiaeth gymunedol yn chwarae rhan hanfodol ym mywydau miloedd o bobl ledled Cymru. Fe’i disgrifir yn aml gan ei ddefnyddwyr fel ‘Lifeline’ – hebddo byddai llawer methu gadael eu cartref neu cymryd rhan yn eu cymunedau. Mae’n chwarae rhan bwysig wrth hybu materion ar draws y sbectrwm polisi o iechyd, cydraddoldeb a mynediad at wasanaethau cyhoeddus, addysg, unigrwydd, gwella ansawdd aer, a chaniatáu i bobl leol ddatblygu eu hatebion trafnidiaeth eu hunain.

Y Gymdeithas Cludiant Cymunedol (CTA) yw’r corff aelodaeth cenedlaethol sy’n cynrychioli ac yn cefnogi’r sefydliadau hyn ac sy’n hyrwyddo’r gwaith hanfodol y meant yn ei wneud.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn yn rhoi cyfle i rhai sy’n pennu penderfyniadau gyfarfod â’n haelodau a’u teithwyr, i glywed eu straeon, a thrafod y sialensau y maent yn eu hwynebu a’r cyfleoedd posib.

Gyda llu o ddatblygiadau newydd cyffrous mewn polisi thrafnidiaeth yng Nghymru, byddem hefyd yn edrych ar sut mae cludiant cymunedol yn cyd-fynd â modelau cludiant newydd, o ddarparu gwasanaethau cyhoeddus a llesiant, a’r rôl y gall chwarae mewn polisi yn y dyfodol.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn dod â’r Llywodraeth a’r Cynulliad ynghyd â darparwyr trafnidiaeth gymunedol i sicrhau y gall pobl yng Nghymru gael mynediad gorau posibl i bopeth y mae gan eu cymunedau i’w gynnig a byw eu bywydau yn llawn.

Bydd cinio a lluniaeth ar gael, a bydd gennym hefyd fysiau mini ein haelodau y tu allan i adeilad y Pierhead er mwyn i chi dynnu llun. Edrychwn ymlaen at eich gweld chi yno!
