Reforming Network Support Grant

Network Support Grant (NSG) is essential funding for Scotland's Community Transport sector.

More than 1 in 3 Community Transport operators here claim NSG, the successor to the Bus Services Operators' Grant (BSOG).

According to Transport Scotland, NSG is a 'discretionary grant available to both commercial and community bus operators to support Scotland’s bus network and keep fares more affordable than would otherwise be the case'.

CTA Leads Coalition Calling for More Plugged-In Communities

CTA has assembled a diverse coalition of influential organisations to call on the Scottish Government to invest further in Community Transport's transition to zero-emission fleets.

The Plugged-In Communities Grant Fund has invested more than £3.92 million over the past three years to enable 43 Community Transport operators across Scotland to replace their ageing, polluting vehicles with 52 new, modern Electric Vehicles (EVs), which are cheaper and greener to run.

Brecon Dial-A-Ride on Supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing Passengers

This year’s NHS Deaf Awareness Week runs from 6th – 12th May. The aim of Deaf Awareness Week is to promote greater awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by the Deaf community, to break down the communication barriers that prevent Deaf people from fully participating in society.

Many CTA Members across the UK offer services to passengers who are deaf or hearing-impaired. One of which is Brecon Dial-A-Ride, based in Wales.
