CTA has developed commercial offers which enable commercial organisations to connect with the Community Transport sector in the UK, build their understanding and facilitate a deeper understanding of the sector’s unique challenges.  

This will enable commercial organisations to tailor their products or services to best meet the diverse needs of community transport providers.

Our Board of Trustees oversee CTA governance and strategic direction.

Meeting once a month, our Trustees are accountable for everything we do, setting the Charity’s vision, values, strategy and policies for our key activities and monitoring our progress.

Team CTA is a group of multi-skilled, highly passionate people from all walks of life. 

Our collective knowledge and experience of the charity and transports sectors spans decades and covers all aspects of community, politics, digital and advice services. The Community Transport Association holds a wide variety of events throughout the year.

What is the CTA Advice Service?

The Community Transport Association provides the UK’s only specialist advice and support service to groups and organisations delivering community-led transport in the UK.  We do this by directly providing support and information on a wide range of topics, such as permits and licencing regulations, driver training, and operations, and by connecting with and signposting to other relevant agencies.

We believe that everyone, no matter who they are or where they live, should have access to local transport which meets their needs. 

We fight for this every day by gathering evidence, engaging with politicians and conducting research which can change lives through policy, regulation and legislation.
