Disability Awareness Module
The Disability Awareness module focuses on the safe transportation of people with disabilities in small passenger carrying vehicles (minibuses). The course will count towards seven hours of periodic training and includes:
- Passenger awareness.
- Passenger assistance.
- Safe use of and safety of passengers who use passenger lifts and ramps.
- Transporting children and young people with special needs.
- Transporting adults who need care and supervision.

What to expect from your Disability Awareness Module Training
Disability Awareness Module training should be delivered to the same standard regardless of where you receive the training and who it is delivered by. Below you can find a document which outlines what to expect before, during and after you receive training.
