Following on from my message this morning, I have written to Jesse Norman MP, Under Secretary of State for Transport, and I wanted to share this letter with you. To read my letter, please click the link below.
CTA’s letter to Under Secretary of State for Transport Jesse Norman MP.
Within this letter I explained that I am writing to him on behalf of tens of thousands of our most vulnerable citizens who rely on community transport to have a better quality of life and now face some real risks to the care they receive, following the Department for Transport’s statement on Monday 31 July 2017 about how it intends to regulate these services in the future.
I have requested a meeting with him at his earliest opportunity and explained that to be transparent with our members, I would be sharing this letter with you. I will update you again as soon as I receive more information.
