What is CT ’19?

CT ’19 is a two day event in Manchester that aims to bring together CTA members and friends from all parts of the UK to network, learn, share ideas and celebrate the amazing work of our sector.
We’ll have a packed agenda across the two days including:
- Great opportunities to network, learn and celebrate with colleagues from across the sector.
- A half day conference with panel discussions and member contributions.
- CTA’s Annual General Meeting.
- Drinks, dinner and the Community Transport Awards.
- Interesting and practical workshops run by a mix of CTA staff and guest conveners.
- Launch of new reports and initiatives.
- An exhibition bringing together top suppliers to the community transport sector.
Day one will hold the conference, AGM and the Community Transport Awards, with the workshops and exhibition being held on day two. You can find all the latest news and information on CT ’19 here.
How much does it cost to attend?
If you book your place between now and the end of July you can take advantage of our early-bird booking rate of £100 for CTA members and £125 for non-members. For that, you’ll have access to all aspects of the event, including the conference, workshops, exhibition and the Community Transport Awards dinner, so don’t miss out! If you’re a CTA member, make sure to login to access the discounted member rate.
Where can I stay and how do I get there?
Hotel Football is easily accessible by public transport, with train, tram and bus links nearby and parking facilities near the venue. There’s also plenty of affordable accommodation within walking distance of Hotel Football including a Premier Inn just across the road.

The Community Transport Awards
This year we’re holding the Community Transport Awards to recognise examples of excellence from the community transport sector, highlighting the stories and achievements of organisations and individuals who have gone above and beyond for their communities. The awards, along with a drinks reception and three course dinner are taking place at the end of the first day of CT ’19.
