I’m pleased to announce that we have appointed Rachael Murphy as CTA’s new Director for Scotland. Rachael has been with CTA as our Support and Engagement Executive for Scotland since July 2018 and we’re thrilled that she will now be taking on the position of Director.

During her time as Scotland’s Support and Engagement Executive, Rachael quickly established a great reputation with members and partners from across Scotland as well as with colleagues at CTA. On her appointment Rachael said:

“I’m so happy to take on the role of CTA’s Director for Scotland. Since joining the CTA last year, I’ve been constantly inspired by the hard work of our members and the huge difference they make in their communities. I know that this is a tough time for our sector, but I relish the opportunity to play a role in bringing the important voice of community transport providers across Scotland to bear on policy and decision making. The role of community transport in communities all over Scotland is of the upmost importance and I’m proud to support our members in the vital work that they do.”

I know that our members and friends from across Scotland will join me in warmly welcoming Rachael as our new Director for Scotland. If you want to get in touch with Rachael you can email her at rachael@ctauk.org or find contact details for our Edinburgh office at ctauk.org/contact-us.
