Dear CTA Community Members,
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who joined us in celebrating Community Transport Week. CT Week was a remarkable showcase of the power of community spirit and the vital role that community transport plays in helping millions of people across the UK connect with their communities, socialise and live independently.
From CT providers including dedicated volunteers, and passengers to sector partners, local authorities, MPs and all key stakeholders of CT who supported our cause – you made Community Transport Week an unforgettable event. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation have left us deeply inspired.
Throughout the week, we witnessed heartwarming stories of beneficiaries of CT, the operators that provide this essential service and the volunteers who contribute their valuable time to ensure that those in need can access vital services, connect with loved ones, and simply enjoy life to the fullest. The unity displayed within the sector all through the week was truly extraordinary.
As we close the curtain on CTWeek23, let’s remember that our work doesn’t end here. The spirit of this week should continue to inspire us to build more accessible, sustainable, and community-driven transport solutions.
Keep the conversation going, keep advocating, and keep making a difference in the lives of those who depend on community transport.
Once again, a massive Thank You to all of you for being part of this incredible journey. You have shown that together, we can create a brighter, more connected, and inclusive future for everyone.

‘No two passengers are the same – they are all individual characters. The one thing they do have in common is that they just want to keep their independence. Community transport helps them do that.’
