Supporting Community Transport schemes would remove some of the barriers mentioned in this document. Many of our users benefit from convenient pick up and drop off points (not on scheduled routes), familiar drivers and vehicles, passenger safety and reliability of service. Many people would welcome additional shopping buses which would reduce the need for several vehicles to make similar journeys and be more economical and environmentally friendly. This is just one example of the advantages of group travel.
