CTA Community Building Session - CTWeek24

The focus for this month's session is CTWeek24.

As CT Week 2024 approaches, we are excited to invite you to a special edition of our Community Building Session. These sessions have become a cornerstone for networking, learning, and sharing within the Community Transport (CT) sector. This session is designed to help you make the most of CT Week, providing the tools, resources, and insights needed to elevate your impact.

MiDAS 30th Celebration Event

Join us at Aintree Racecourse, home of the world famous Grand National, to celebrate 30 years of safe, legal and comfortable journeys.

The MiDAS Celebration will bring together trainers, drivers, passengers and organisations from within the Community Transport sector to highlight the collaboration, effort and standard set by the MiDAS brand.

CTA and Hampshire County Council invite you to join us and hear from a range of speakers, browse our exhibition stands and enjoy a fantastic awards ceremony to honour those who uphold the MiDAS standard in their work, every day.

What is Community Transport?

What is community transport?

  • Every year, in all parts of the UK, millions of people are supported by thousands of community transport staff and volunteers to stay independent, participate in their communities, and access vital public services and employment opportunities.
  • Community transport is not just about moving people from point A to point B.

Women in Community Transport

Empowering Women in Community Transport: Driving Change for a More Inclusive Sector

The Community Transport Association (CTA) is leading a movement to enhance the role of women in the community transport sector. Through the launch of the Women in Community Transport UK Network, CTA will be aiming to address the challenges women face in our vital industry, while promoting their invaluable contributions and driving initiatives to improve recruitment, retention, and empowerment.

Sustainable Transport Alliance

CTA is proud to be part of the Sustainable Transport Alliance, a partnership of sustainable transport NGOs that cover public, community, active and shared transport.

The Sustainable Transport Alliance consists of: the Community Rail Network; the Campaign for Better Transport; Bus Users UK; Living Streets; Sustrans; the London Cycling Campaign; and CTA.
